I noticed that Magic Johnson will be campaigning with Bill Clinton for Hillary Clinton’s Iowa campaign. (Link) There are three things that occurred to me about this:
- Magic has had HIV since about 1991 if I recall correctly. I’m not saying that it’s a treat to take the medications that people with HIV have to take, but it’s pretty amazing that the medications can suppress the AIDS and help someone survive 16+ years.
- Speaking of antidotes, Magic isn’t exactly the cure for Oprah. It seems like bringing him into it is an attempt to offset Oprah’s campaigning with Obama.
- What is it, a philanderers’ tour? I wonder if Cheaters4Hillary.org is taken yet?
