Blog-rule #1: when you’re too lazy to write your own material, seek it out from others. There’s some good stuff out there today. Well, interesting stuff, some of it’s not so good.

Sebastian at Snowflakesinhell recently celebrated his blog’s first birthday (and has about twice as many posts as I’ve put up since July 06).  Snowflakesinhell has consistently had its finger not only on the pulse of 2nd Amendment issues, but pretty much has its finger in the artery.  This morning he’ll add a few points to your blood pressure when you read that the “friendly to gun owners” Bush Administration has filed an amicus brief on behalf of DC in its appeal of the handgun ban getting overturned (link).

Speaking of “snowflakes in hell”, Baghdad got snow the other day for the first time in 100 years. (link) Guess what gets blamed? Nope, not global warming, in the Winter we just call it climate change!

Fred’s still going after Huckabee.  Which is fine, but when’s he going after McCain? (link) No friends in politics. It’s business, not personal. Phil at Random Nuclear Strikes has a few “tips” for Fred. (link) I may put a few bucks in myself. I’ve already given and am kinda tapped out right now, but what’s $50 or $100?

Remind me of why if you or I got busted driving twice the speed limit drunk, we’d be locked up for longer than four hours, but Clinton poo-flinger Sydney Blumenthal doesn’t? (link)  Funny, a news search of Sydney Blumenthal yields nothing about this. (link) What do you think would’ve happened if Ed Rollins of the Huckahucka campaign got a DWI?  We would’ve heard about it with headlines of “DWI Overshadows ______ (fill-in GOP candidate’s name) Campaign”.

(link) I’m glad he’s in jail but it’s tragic to think that it’s been over ten years that OJ’s been living relatively freely while the lives of the families of Nicole Brown Simpson, Ron Goldman, and even his own kids have been ruined.
