Bad Idea Vanquished By Market
A bad idea blown out of the sky (link):
LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - A mere 5 million viewers tuned in Friday for the 8 p.m. bow of Rosie O’Donnell’s variety show, “Rosie Live,” on NBC. The show has been dropped from the network’s schedule.
I didn’t like Rosie O’Donnell on the View, I think it showed what a vicious and cruel individual she is. Why someone would even propose that she have her own show is concerning.
Speaking of the View, the luminaries on that show have showed their ignorance quite well lately. First, there was Joy Behar showing that her mouth is a puckered brown sphincter of knowledge on home-schooling (link), and then Whoopi and the crew not knowing what “suffrage” is (link). Not a single one of them.
When you fail to appreciate what it took to get the rights you have, you’re bound to lose them.
