Today, President Obama is in London. He’s trying to make a splash on the international scene, and wanted to make up for the perceived blunder of gifting British PM Gordon Brown DVD’s that didn’t work. So when Barack and Michelle met with Queen Elizabeth, they had a special gift for her that blends United States flavor with royalty: a Burger King crown.
Okay, actually they gave her an i-pod, which is a step up from a pine tree air freshener (link). She already has one, but that’s no big deal. The important thing is that it’s made in China. It’s as American as apple pie (made with Argentinian apples)!
