I’m going to make a prediction that prior to the mid-term elections, we’ll have a different Vice President of the United States. I predict that Joe Biden will suddenly have “health issues” pop up (in other words, it’d be a way to resign with dignity).
Based on VP Biden’s performance so far, one can guess that the POTUS is not really pleased with him. But his selection as VP is a good example of the judgement problems that PBO has.
As far as a replacement, PBO might seek someone he’s more comfortable with, like Deval Patrick.

I’ll bet you a shiny nickel that the Dem candidate in 2012 will be Hillary. They KNOW that the only way Obama got elected was the huge number of people that wanted to be a part of making history by electing a black president. Even if he did well, there isn’t going to be the same level of support for him. However, those same idiots can be talked into being a part of making history by electing a woman president.
Now she has that “foreign policy” cred that she needed, and she can say “if only she had been elected in 2008 we wouldn’t be in the same boat we’re in now”, telling everyone how great the economy was when a Clinton was in the white house.
Let’s not forget- the white house is chock full of Clinton buddies. People that would be willing to give her the goods on anything Obama did behind the scenes that would cast him a bad light. If the Democratic Party candidate determination process was more election and less selection, she wouldn’t be able to pull it off.
I say she’ll go for it, and she’ll get the nomination instead of Obama. Once that happens, unless the Republicans have a woman on the top of their ticket, she’ll win the election.
Watch as the media just pound down any Republican women between now and 2012. They’re still attacking Palin and there has been a lot of press directed toward Rice lately. It will just get worse for the next few years as they want to make sure we don’t run a woman, knowing how her sex alone could give her the election.

At this point, nothing seems too far-fetched. But you’re onto something that all the FOB’s/FOH’s are in the administration.

We’ll record your prediction for posterity, by the way.
