I was pretty annoyed to hear about the couple that infiltrated a state dinner recently, sounds like it was discovered that there was another uninvited guest (link). Whether it’s the bouncer in the VIP line, the WH social office, or the secret service, somebody better figure this stuff out. Of all the risks, this is basic stuff.
Our President needs to have his security assured better than this.
I was going to (sarcastically) say “thankfully, the US Secret Service falls under the capable hands of Treasury Secretary Geithner”, but then I was reassured when I remembered that the US Secret Service is now in the (do I need to explain my tone in parentheses for this?) capable hands of DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano.
